I love what Pastor Jeff has been teaching on recently and his focus on our dire need for inner strength. This verse jumped out at me this morning:

Matthew 12:29 (NLT)
29 For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like Satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.

The only way to have this type of inner strength is a disciplined, close walk with our Lord. That means consistent and extended times of prayer and mega doses of God’s word. We need quantity time with Him.
